CoRT - Comprehensive Requirements Traceability

Overview

CoRT was the product of my final year dissertation.

The project was taken through from requirements to implementation, based on an idea and requirements from my placement year.

Requirements capture and maintaining change those requirements have been proven to matter in I.T. projects. CoRT provides a simple collaborative environment for Comprehensive Requirements Traceability.

Capturing requirements into the system is straight forward but only a single part of what CoRT offers, once in the system requirements can be assessed and risk managed. Project artefacts such as Requirements Specifications can be automatically generated. Change Control can be utilised with the systems ability to analyse the changes effect. Finally Release management support helps define what will be offered and provide projects managers insight to where run overs could occur.
