Hello! my name is Tony Chellew, I am currently a final year undergraduate student studying Computing Informatics at the University of Plymouth. Its been a short four years in which I've learnt a lot, and put some of this into practice whilst out on Placement. Obviously my principle interest lies in Computing, since having an Amstrad as a child and then getting a PC in 1996 I’ve been breaking and repairing them, along the way teaching myself a range of software. At school I was largely unable to pursue much in the subject of computing or IT, and was unsure of what I really wanted to do in my life, however my Work Experience week in year 11 gave me the opportunity to see some roles in which I was interested to pursue further. At College I took the opportunity to undertake a completely I.T. focused course covering a broad range of the subject. Between the vocational course at college I also gained the opportunity to work within the Network Services Team gain valuable experience, and massively increasing my confidence.I have lived all my life in Cornwall, I enjoy life here with beaches all around, the less than predictable Cornish sun very often covered in rain clouds.
